When I started velQip, it wasn't because I wanted to build another shopping app. It began with a simple observation: despite having more choices than ever before, making healthy, informed and affordable everyday decisions had become increasingly difficult. Families were spending more time comparing products, reading labels and searching for better value, yet still felt uncertain they were making the right choices.
After more than two decades working in enterprise technology and cybersecurity, I believed technology could do much more than process transactions — it could empower people to make better decisions. That belief became the foundation of velQip. We set out to create an intelligent platform that combines nutrition, savings, convenience and trusted local services into one connected ecosystem designed around people, not products.
